River Rafting in Northern Thailand

With a view to safety and the most enjoyable experience, our raft trips or raft expeditions are accompanied by experienced local raft captains. Our captains are friendly, well trained to BCU standard. They have a good knowledge of the river area, in which they were born. They will be happy to answer any question and share with you information about this region, the nature, the traditions…
Thailand White Water Rafting
Rafting expeditions in a tropical climate are simply great. No need of thermal wetsuits as the water is lukewarm. Lush tropical jungle, wild rivers, bamboo campsites, Thai smiles and gourmet food, as well as the likelihood of spotting wild animals, should make this the trip of a lifetime.
On every river expedition, we use strong hypalon self-bailing rafts and canoes. Adequate equipment such as life jackets and helmets are provided.
To carry the participant’s day gear, we use watertight containers which are always readily accessible when we make a break. The overnight packs, (restricted size) are stored in sturdy dry bags taken on the rafts.
Participants are required to wear a life jacket and helmet while on the rafts.
During the two day Pai River expedition all food and drink is provided (except alcoholic beverages).
At the camp, we provide drinking water, tea and fresh coffee.
Our regular river rafting trips:
- Two-day trips on the Pai River middle section. Convenient package tour, departure from Chiangmai
- Day trip, departure nearly every day in season. Depart from Pai
- Day trip (rafting section of about 8km) on the Maetang River, departure from Chiangmai
- Upon request, we can organize also multiple day on the Maetang river with the first section being ideal for novices (3 days Maetang River expedition), with depart from Chiangmai.
River Rafting Season is closed. Re-open on 01st June 2013 (subject to water level)
