Frequently Asked Questions

I have never paddle a kayak before. Can I do it?
Yes, paddling on a sit-on-top is very easy. Our staff will show you how do handle the boat in a 20 minutes practice session. Of course you must be somewhat fit, as it is a hard workout on the arms and upper body.

I am afraid of the roll in the kayak, or if I fall out of the kayak, what can I do then?
Usually nobody fall out of the kayaks, this is flat water. No need to roll neither. Theses kayaks are open cockpit and we sit on the top of it. If you would fall into the water, you can just swim or float with your flotation vest or buoyancy aid. the kayaks are wide and very stable. An agile person can even stand up on it. It is indeed a great opportunity for you to give it a try, under our expert guidance!

My kids are 10 and 12 years old, but are used to outdoor activities. They can ride bikes. My concern is the danger of traffic and being on the water too
First, on the bike: we use mostly country lanes and rural roads, barely no traffic. Be aware we cycle on the left hand side of the road in Thailand. Second: on the kayaks, read the above comments, and I may add that we have a throw line in case we need to tow the kayak, and we provide small sizes buoyancy aids for small kids. We also have small cycling helmets for kids.
