Elephants Camp and Orchid Farm

Meeting at your hotel with your guide.
Drive north, a mere 30 km to reach the popular Mae-sa valley, and it’s tourist attractions.
We’ll stop at Maesa Elephant Camp, the largest elephant camp in the north of Thailand.
Their philosophy is to create a natural and healthy environment for the elephants while working to conserve and breed them, due to the dwindling number of Asian elephants left in the wild.

You will see the elephants show where the elephants demonstrate their skills. Strenght to pull and haul logs, agility to play football and even paint with a brush.
You can have also the chance to observe the elephants bathing.

Optional: Experience 1 hour riding on the back of an elephant, through the surrounding forest.

Continue to the nearby Orchid and Butterfly Farm, where you can enjoy exotic year-round blooms and special butterfly enclosures where tropical species can be seen in a natural environment.

Drive back to Chiangmai for drop off at your hotel.
