Riding the Hills of Chiangdao

General Information

Departure possible all year long.
English speaking cycling tour guide.
We provide quality mountain bike and helmet.

Riding level
We ride mostly in the valley, but encounter a few steep but short hills. Some off road with rutted trails, but nothing too technical. Off-road riding experience is necessary to fully enjoy the tour.

What to bring
Participants must bring personal cycling gear including shorts, gloves, sunglasses. We recommend to bring your own helmet but if that is not convenient we will provide it. Shoes should be good hard sole shoes, as runners or hiking shoes. Suncream and mosquito repellant (can be purchased in Chiang Mai).

Our bikes
We maintain a fleet of imported TREK mountain-bikes, serviced in-house. Most bikes are model 4300 or 3900, with front suspension and 24 gears. We carry all sizes to fit participants, from 13" to 21" frames. Please mention your size/height when reserving a trip with us.

Season/weather
Best (coolest) season is from October to end of February, however we run this trip all year round. July to September can be wet months, and we will tend to ride more on paved roads.

Itinerary mentioned is for information only and subject to change according to season.
